Back End Developer (Apollo GraphQL)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly skilled individual to join our team as a GraphQL Developer. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will design, implement, and optimize GraphQL APIs to enhance the performance and efficiency of our applications. You will have a chance to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to the evolution of our software landscape.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and develop robust and scalable GraphQL APIs to support our applications.
  • Collaborate with front-end and back-end developers to integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic.
  • Optimize GraphQL queries and mutations for performance and efficiency.
  • Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
  • Maintain and improve existing GraphQL services, ensuring code quality through peer reviews and best practices.
  • Continuously identify and incorporate improvements and new technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience with Apollo GraphQL API design and development.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, React, GraphQL
  • Database Technologies: SQL, NoSQL, Relational (MySQL, Postgres
  • Experience with Node.js and backend frameworks (e.g., Express, Apollo Server).
  • Familiarity with database technologies such as NoSQL and SQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL).
  • DevOps & CI/CD: Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
