Data Engineer (ADF)
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with deep hands-on expertise in Jitterbit and proven experience leading migration efforts to Azure Data Factory (ADF). This is a key technical role for a seasoned professional who thrives in complex integration environments and takes full ownership of solution delivery, performance, and data integrity.
Technical Skills & Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience delivering and supporting enterprise-grade Jitterbit solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, including real-world migration leadership.
- Proficiency in Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Key Vault, Data Lake Storage Gen2, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, including ARM/Bicep or Terraform templates and Git-based ADF development and deployment.
- Expertise in monitoring and troubleshooting integrations using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
- Experience with integrating with Salesforce API's.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and support sophisticated Jitterbit integrations, both in Harmony and on-premise, including, Operation chains, real-time API calls, large batch processing jobs, and event-driven triggers.
- Logging, alerting, and performance tuning of existing Jitterbit implementations.
- Lead end-to-end migrations from Jitterbit to Azure Data Factory, including, production cutovers and redesigning legacy integrations using Mapping Data Flows and Pipelines.
- Refactoring operations, parameterizing linked services, and scaling Integration Runtimes.
- Re-engineer Jitterbit transformations (XSLT, VBScript, JavaScript, Regex) into modern ADF expressions, SQL logic, or Azure Functions.
- Apply deep SQL/T-SQL expertise and implement robust ETL patterns such as change data capture (CDC), idempotent operations, and exactly-once processing.
- Promote API-first integration designs, working with REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, OAuth 2.0, and JWTs.
- Architect and support message-oriented and micro-batch integration patterns using tools like Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, Kafka, or MQ technologies.
