Content & Community Manager
As the Content & Community Manager, you will play a key role in both the growth and
engagement of our community of fractional executives. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication, is comfortable with video editing and/or graphic design, and understands what’s needed to grow the social media presence for a brand through thought leadership. Bonus points if you’re comfortable with longer format writing for SEO or email newsletters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in organizing virtual and in-person events, webinars, and networking sessions.
- Address questions, comments, and concerns from community members in a timely and professional manner.
- Create and manage a content & campaign calendar that engages both existing and prospective new talent and clients on LinkedIn, Email, and other potential social channels.
- Develop and curate content for social media channels, newsletters, and community platforms.
- This includes writing posts, designing simple graphics, and sourcing relevant content.
Schedule and publish social media posts, monitor engagement, and provide feedback on performance. - Assist in the execution of marketing campaigns, including email marketing, content marketing, and partnerships.
- Maintain & Update GoFractional.com: Support efforts to create & update content for GoFractional.com.
- Working closely with our CMO and web development team to understand SEO principles and produce article-format content for organic growth efforts.
- Analytics and Reporting: Track and report on key performance metrics related to
community engagement and marketing efforts.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 3-4 years of experience in content production, community management,
- Social media management, or marketing.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.), content management systems, and basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva).
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Basic understanding of marketing metrics and analytics tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Executive Communities: familiarity with the needs and dynamics of fractional or consulting executives.
- Experience with creative tools like Figma, Canva, CapCut, and RiversideFM as well as social media management tools like Hootsuite or Buffer.
- Familiarity with SEO tools like Ahrefs or SEMRush, SurferSEO, and others.
- Email Service Providers: Familiarity with Klaviyo or similar email platforms for
newsletters and client communications
